Graiguenamanagh & Tinnahinch Annual Regatta
Reputed to be the oldest Regatta on Ireland’s inland waterways. A festival of rowing, swimming, diving, etc. with musical events open air all are very welcome.
The entire town gathers to see locals and visitors alike compete on the river in swimming and diving costumes, and most special of all, racing in ‘cots’, which are the traditional small fishing craft of the Barrow.
